200G QSFP56 SR4 CDR Technology & Standards

This Optical Transceiver Module complies with IEEE 802.3cd for 200GBASE-SR4 Ethernet, SFF 8679 for mechanical and electrical specifications, and supports CMIS 4.0 or SFF8636 for management functionality. It uses advanced 850nm VCSEL and PIN photodiode array technology to ensure high-speed data integrity and low bit error rates.

Working Principle

The module converts four electrical lanes into optical signals using VCSEL arrays. Each lane operates at 26.5625 GBaud using PAM4 modulation. On the receiver side, a PIN photodiode array converts incoming optical signals back into electrical data. Integrated CDR (Clock and Data Recovery) circuits ensure signal integrity and minimize jitter.
